Submit a DVD

Persons allowed to submit a DVD include:

  1. A member of the prosecuting Solicitor’s Office;
  2. The victim of the offense for which the inmate is currently serving his/her sentence; or if the victim is deceased, ONE family member may be the spokesperson

The DVD must not exceed five minutes.  In the event of a case which includes multiple victims, the total amount of time of testimony cannot exceed ten minutes.  The DVD must contain a visual or oral statement of the name of the inmate, the inmate’s SCDC number, and the date of the scheduled parole hearing.  You must identify yourself and state your relationship to the victim.  Also, please state the date of the DVD recording.

The DVD MUST BE RECEIVED by the Office of Victim Services NO LATER THAN TEN (10) DAYS PRIOR TO THE PAROLE HEARING DATE.  Send your DVD to:

If you submit (along with your DVD) a self-addressed, pre-paid mailer with adequate postage, the DVD will be returned to you.
Otherwise, the DVD will be destroyed following the parole hearing.
