Protecting Rights, Dignity, and Quality of Life
The South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services is committed to providing far-reaching support to victims and their families:
  • Working with victims to ensure that their rights are protected and they are not "re-victimized" by the judicial system;
  • Collecting restitution from offenders and distributing it to victims and their families;
  • Maintaining ongoing communication so victims are not "left in the dark" about matters related to their cases; and helping to restore their quality of life.

The Office of Victim Services is committed to providing quality services to the victims they serve. A survey was developed to assist OVS in assessing their services to victims at parole hearings.  Obtain a suvey by clicking the link below. You may mail the completed survey to: SCDPPPS, Office of Victim Services, Attn:Carol Woodard, P.O. Box 50666, Columbia, SC 29250.
